If you would like to join the Badger Trove Discord server, please read the following:
- Be respectful to others in the Discord server. no racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia or the like will be tolerated
- Bear in mind that impact matters more than intent. A well-intentioned but insensitive comment can still be hurtful. Someone simply pointing out the issue with something you said isn’t necessarily a personal attack. Listen, apologize, do better next time.
- That being said, intent still matters. Do not assume ill intent without reason, don’t mix personal attacks in with corrections, and accept apologies and explanations if they’re offered.
- Please use the Threads feature or Forum channels for longer discussions in the general chat to make it easier to follow.
- To foster a positive environment for discussing the TTRPG field as a whole, discussions of D&D, positive or negative, are not allowed.
- This includes any actual play series that are primarily focused around D&D.
- To foster a safe environment for LGBTQ members, discussions of Harry Potter are not allowed.
- Please do not use the server to vent about real-world horrors. On a personal and global scale, we all face problems, but we also need spaces away from those problems.
- That being said, no enforcement of positivity, especially if it relates to an issue within the Badger Trove online community.
- No plagiarism. This includes sharing things made using machine learning models trained on stolen data
- No soliciting digital currency or assets. This especially applies to Crypto/NFTs but could cover any form of financial transaction you could hypothetically do over Discord.
- While we do not currently produce 18+ content, the server is intended for mature audiences only. Please do not join unless you are over 18.
- Behavior outside the server that reflects poorly on the Badger Trove community may result in consequences on the server.
- Rules violations will result in warnings, kicks, or bans at the discretion of the staff and moderators.
